Nonna's Bistro Information

Tucked along SW Bayshore Blvd in Port St. Lucie, Nonna's Bistro feels like the kind of neighborhood spot people stumble upon once and keep returning to. The location at 1352 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983 sits in a quiet stretch of town that’s easy to reach whether you’re coming from nearby residential areas or passing through on a casual evening drive. From the outside it has the welcoming charm of a local diner, but once you step inside the atmosphere leans more toward a cozy Italian-inspired bistro where the focus is clearly on food and friendly service.

The menu reflects that comforting, home-style approach. Classic Italian dishes appear alongside familiar American favorites, creating a mix that works well whether you’re craving pasta, seafood, or something simple and satisfying. On a recent visit, the pasta dishes stood out for their rich sauces and generous portions. A plate of fettuccine Alfredo arrived steaming hot with a creamy sauce that tasted freshly made rather than overly heavy, and the garlic bread on the side had the perfect balance of crunch and butter. The menu also features staples like chicken parmesan, hearty sandwiches, and daily specials that regulars often mention in their reviews.

Service is another area where the restaurant seems to earn its loyal following. Staff members move at a relaxed but attentive pace, greeting guests like neighbors rather than customers. During dinner hours the dining room can fill up quickly, especially on weekends, yet servers still take the time to explain menu options and check in without rushing anyone through the meal. That kind of hospitality adds to the overall experience and gives the place a genuine local feel.

The dining space itself is comfortable and casual, with simple décor and tables spaced close enough to create a lively atmosphere without feeling crowded. Conversations from nearby tables mix with the aroma of tomato sauce, fresh herbs, and baked dishes coming out of the kitchen. Many online reviews highlight the consistency of the food and the welcoming vibe, which is often what keeps people returning to small neighborhood restaurants like this.

Port St. Lucie has plenty of dining options, but places that manage to balance good food, a relaxed setting, and dependable service tend to stand out in the local restaurant scene. The menu variety here makes it easy for families or groups to find something they like, and the portion sizes are generous enough that leftovers are common. For locals exploring their neighborhood dining spots or visitors searching for a casual dinner location in this part of Florida, it’s the type of restaurant that fits comfortably into the rhythm of the community.

What People's Say About Place

I stumbled upon this bistro this morning and it’s really a hidden gem! Everything is amazing and freshly baked. I’ve never had a better scone that wasn’t from the UK. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, ham, eggs over medium, and cheese and it’s probably the best in town. The owners are super sweet and friendly and seem to really take pride in their restaurant. I’ll definitely visit again. Also worth noting, the prices are beyond reasonable, they are clearly using fresh quality ingredients and charging the same as gross fast food. I bought several different items to try and it ran me about $30 for a very big selection of baked goods, coffee, and the breakfast sandwich.

Amazing authentic Italian food! They have so many different options for you to choose, either breakfast or lunch and many yummy fresh baked deserts . Definitely recommend! Everything is made fresh and the owners are Amazing people! Makes you feel like family:)

My sister and I went in today and were immediately greeted with a warm and friendly welcome! The breakfast was hands down the best in the area. Everything was fresh and delicious. The bakery items we got were also freshly made and amazing. Thank you so much for the great service! We will definitely be coming back.

My favorite bakery in the area. Awesome food, service, and atmosphere. New, but experienced. Growing customers at a fast pace as people realize the the food here is made with experienced, caring hands. I love eating here, and I’m positive that you will too. You know you want to give them a try, if you haven’t already! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

When it comes to a new food spot, I have to try it out whenever I get a chance and support a local business. From the moment I walked in, I received a very friendly greeting, and saw numerous food items in the glass case. Whether it was certain homemade salads (three bean salad, cucumber salad, macaroni salad, etc), the various types of sandwich bread, or the variety of dessert (Nutella croissants are awesome), there’s a good amount to take in. The owners naturally communicated and made you feel very welcomed in their store. I tried several items from there on my first visit. I got a Chicken Vodka Parm hero, which also came with fries, for about $10 and felt that was reasonably priced. My wife got a Buffalo Chicken hero, and we also got a rice ball to share. I even had an espresso to wrap up the meal! All the food was very good, so much so that I went back the next day to try out another item. The next day I had a Chicken Parm hero with a side of pasta, and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. The pasta was cooked very well and the sauce was great! Today, I went for breakfast and got a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, with a cup of coffee. The sandwich was really good, and I really enjoyed the coffee they brewed! Overall, between the great food, reasonable prices, and friendly service, this will be a new regular place for me to go to often!

Italian girl from east coast just moved here and loved that I found this italian little bistro. Port st lucie needs more italian places like this one. People were very kind and friendly and food was excellent!! A great find!!!

Today was the first time I ever came here and I’m glad I did. The food was amazing!! Their service and staff were super helpful and friendly. I tried one of their paninis along with their mozzarella sticks and I was surprised of how delicious they were. They told me everything is freshly made by them. I told them they’re gonna see me more often. I really do recommend this place to anyone. They also have really good cheesecake and tiramisu.
